Although the New Year's Day celebratory activities have ended, the party doesn't stop for veteran producer Timbaland. On Jan. 1, Timbo dropped 'The Party Anthem,' a rollicking club track that will definitely make you nod your head.

Fellow rhyme-spitters Missy Elliott, Lil Wayne and T-Pain join the party rapping over marching drums, dramatic violins and crashing snares. If you thought Timmy lost his production edge over the years, think again. Furthermore, Weezy and Missy sound lyrically sharp on this track.

On the song, Wayne spits, "Young Tunechi got the game down, Pat Sajak / Even though I'm paid in full, all I want is payback."

But it's Missy who has the standout verse on here with her quick and witty rhymes. "This country bitch from Virginia / See the way the crowd go wild when Misdemeanor 'bout to enter / Everybody better bow down when I step up to the mic; front and center / Say I'm too old to rap, I'll be rapping till I wear dentures / Yeah, hello haters," she spits.

T-Pain comes through with a great hook encouraging everyone to pop bottles and wave their hands in the air like they just don't care.

No word on where 'The Party Anthem"' will end up, but if this is what Timbo is bringing in 2013, then bring it on. Keep the party going with this glorious head-banger -- and try not to pay attention to the fact that someone's graphic designer referred to Weezy as Lil Wanye on the single art above.
