2013 BET Awards Nominations: Drake, Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz Lead

Rapper Drake is bound to leave the 2013 BET Awards with at least one trophy as he leads with 12 nominations, including Best Male Hip-Hop artist.

Nominees Kendrick Lamar and Chris Brown presented the BET Awards nominations at a press conference earlier this afternoon.

Drizzy has multiple nominations in the Best Collaboration, Video of the Year and Coca-Cola Viewers Choice Award categories. Lamar and Atlanta's own 2 Chainz follow behind with eight nominations each.

R&B and pop crooners Usher, Miguel, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Chris Brown will be competing for the Best R&B/Pop Awards.

For the ladies, Nicki Minaj, Eve and Azealia Banks are amongst the nominees for the Best Female Hip-Hop artist. Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Rihanna are also competing in the Best Female R&B/Pop Artist category.

Breezy and R. Kelly will be hitting the awards show stage. Comedian Chris Tucker will host the event, airing live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sun., June 30.
