Remember when a bright-eyed 17-year-old Rihanna was telling the DJ to turn the music up in her video, 'Pon the Replay?' The Bajan singer has really come a long way since her audition with Jay Z in 2004.

After releasing seven albums including the most recent, 'Unapologetic,' she's behind some of today's chart-topping singles like 'Umbrella,' 'Don't Stop the Music,' 'Disturbia,' 'We Found Love' and 'Diamonds.' And 12 of these songs have gone straight to No. 1 -- making her the seventh artist to do so.

Aside from being queen of the charts, she has also won various awards including seven Grammys, 18 Billboard Music Awards, two BRIT Awards and an award from TheDrop.fm. Her shows are amongst one of the must-see concerts of 2013, and '777 Rihanna,' the film documenting her infamous 777 tour last year, showed just how monumental her shows are.

Rihanna has gone into 2013 with a bang, launching a clothing line, starting her world tour, releasing a remix to 'Pour It Up' featuring Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J and T.I. and having her figure honored in wax (for the eighth time) at Madame Tussauds.
