Dipset founder Jim Jones was arrested Wednesday close to his home in Fair Lawn, N.J. He probably could've gotten off with a warning if it wasn't for his infamous temper.

According to the Fairlawn-Saddlebrook Patch, Sergeant James Corcoran was on scene to handle a complaint about Jones' car being parked illegally in front of his residence -- the vehicle was also snowbound.

While the sergeant inspected the car, Jones approached him to ask what he was doing, according to Lieutenant Derek Bastinck.

Apparently, the sergeant found a reason to run the tags on the Harlem, N.Y., rapper's vehicle and once he did, the officer found that Jones had been ducking a couple of warrants for his arrest.

One warrant was for a motor vehicle violation in Paterson, N.J., and the next was for leaving snow on the sidewalk in front of his house.

At this point, Corcoran says he asked the rapper to go with him to police headquarters to straighten out the warrants and Jones wasn't in any mood to comply. He said no such warrants existed and according to the sergeant, he "got out of line."

"If [people with outstanding warrants] agree, we'll just have them come down and pay what they owe," Bastinck said, "but if they don't agree, they're placed under arrest."

This is one instance where Jones was surely unhappy to be home.
