Big K.R.I.T. built a fan base off creating a gritty, bluesy sound paired with old soul samples -- a sound unlike much of today's hip-hop.

His unique rap approach led him to Def Jam, where he debuted his first LP, 'Live From the Underground,' in June 2012.

But before the big show, K.R.I.T. gave fans a project of unreleased tracks on '4 Eva N a Day.' On the project, the producer-rapper is caught between distractions and God's word.

On '4 Eva N a Day Theme' he drops his usual wisdom, rapping, "If it was meant for me then it was meant to be, and it'll pay off like it's supposed." He also shows his more upbeat side on tracks like 'Country Rap Tunes.' The tape offered some of his best work thus far.
