Wale Gets Fancy for ‘LoveHate Thing’ Performance on ‘David Letterman’
To celebrate the release of his new album, 'The Gifted,' this week, Wale got fancy for his performance on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' last night (June 26).
Dressed in a long, asymmetrical suit jacket with buttons, slacks and dress shoes, Wale gave a smooth performance on the New York stage. Newcomer Sam Dew showcased his R&B-rooted vocals while DJ Drama served the beats on the turntables as the D.C. native rapped through his latest single, 'LoveHate Thing.'
Aside from a great performance, it looks like Wale is well on his way to his first No. 1 album. According to Billboard, 'The Gifted' could possibly top the Billboard 200 chart next week with an estimated 150,000 units sold.
