Who would've thought Rihanna would become known for pushing the envelope? Always sexy, even if it isn't overtly in-your-face, the 'Loud' creator wears what works for her and perhaps that lends to the appeal.

In 2011, the Barbados native donned all-white at the Billboard Music Awards. Her bright red hair was feathered and cut into a bob, offsetting the crisp white button-down and pants. She kept the look crisp with nude heels and minimal jewelry, showing that it doesn't take bare skin to be sexy.
