The Weeknd gives his highly-anticipated debut album, 'Kiss Land,' new artwork and a new release date.
According to Vibe, the Toronto crooner's debut is slated for Aug. 27. The new album artwork contains a photo of the mysterious singer, born Abel Tesfaye, along with the words 'Kiss Land' in neon font.
"'Kiss Land' symbolizes the tour life, but it’s a world that I created in my head," heshared with Complex. "Just like 'House of Balloons' symbolizes Toronto and my experiences there, but it’s a world that I created. When I think about 'Kiss Land,' I think about a terrifying place. It’s a place I’ve never been to before that I’m very unfamiliar with."
