Much like in his video for “Can’t Feel My Face,” the Weeknd was on fire -- performance-wise -- at the 2015 Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival. The R&B sensation closed out the first night of the music fest on Saturday (Aug. 22).

According to Billboard, the Weeknd delivered a mesmerizing set at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, N.Y. The 25-year-old singer performed many fan favorites as well as new songs from his upcoming album, Beauty Behind the Madness.

He kicked off his set with the House of Balloons track “High for This” and segued into various tunes from Kiss Land before diving into newer songs like "The Hills," “Earned It," “Can’t Feel My Face" and "Prisoner." A highlight from his show came midway into his set when he covered Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love” behind his full-piece live band.

Overall, the jam-packed Jones Beach crowd witnessed a true rock star in the making. The Weeknd's stellar performance should bode well for his new album, Beauty Behind the Madness, which arrives in stores on Aug. 28.
