The Weeknd is known for his artsy videos and his new visual for 'Belong to the World' is captivating to say the least.

Directed by Anthony Mandler, the 7-minute video features the Toronto singer playing a soldier stationed in Japan. The man becomes infatuated with an exotic dancer. However, what he doesn't know is that the dancing beauty is beloved not only by him but to an army of men as well.

The dark song samples Portishead's 'Machine Gun,' much to band member Geoff Barrow's chagrin.

So it's unclear if 'Belong to the World' will appear on the Weeknd's upcoming album 'Kiss Land,' which arrives in stores Aug. 27.

Following the release of his second album, the Weeknd will embark on a fall tour, which begins Sept. 6 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The 28-city trek wraps up with a three-night concert run in Toronto on Oct. 17, 19 and 20.
