R. Kelly reflects on his journey from the streets of Chicago to the worldwide stage in his viral video for 'My Story.' The black-and-white montage clip is the veteran crooner's love letter to his hometown and his adoring fans.

The clip boasts scenic images of Chi-City and footage of the R&B crooner performing sold-out shows and working in the studio. We also get to see the finer things in life from lavish dinners, beautiful women and luxury vehicles. Yes, R. Kelly is putting in that work.

"This is my story, I made it from that Chi-Town dirt," Kells sings on the chorus, adding, "I went from being broke to sleeping in Versace shirts."

Although 2 Chainz is featured on the song, sadly, he's nowhere to be found in the video.

R. Kelly is currently working on his 12th studio album, 'Black Panties.' Recently, the '12 Play' singer gave fans a taste of the new project with the release of his new song, 'Tear It Up' featuring Future.
