Lil Wayne Gives Positive Update on His Health, Mack Maine Says He’s ‘Alive and Well’

UPDATE: Lil Wayne's publicist has issued a statement via Twitter. "BREAKING > OFFICIAL statement from Young Money publicist: "We can confirm Lil Wayne did have a seizure and that he is recovering." #Weezy," the post read.

Contrary to reports that Lil Wayne is in critical condition at Cedars-Sinai Hospital after a seizure attack, Mack Maine posted on Twitter that Weezy is "alive and well."

TMZ is still continuing to report that Wayne is in the ICU and that his prognosis is uncertain. In addition, Wayne's mother is reportedly flying to Los Angeles to be by her son's side.

Meanwhile, Wayne has posted a tweet on his timeline thanking his fans for their well wishes. "I'm good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love," he tweeted.

According to XXL, Mack Maine, Birdman and Karen Civil have all denied TMZ reports that Wayne is in a medically-induced coma.

We don't know what to think with this story. There are so many conflicting reports. We just need answers at this point.
