Lil Wayne has finally explained his recent hospitalization, which had many fans thinking the rapper was on his death bed. In an interview with Power 106, Weezy reveals that he suffers from epilepsy.

"The bad news is I'm epileptic so I'm prone to seizures," he explains. "This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth or seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures. Y'all just never hear about them."

"But this time, it got real bad because I had three of them in a row," he continues. "With the third one, my heart rate went down to like 30 percent, basically. The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself. And that s--- is typical for me dog."

The 'No Worries' rapper went on to say that his team is well-prepared to handle his outburst of seizures. But his last episode was serious because after the third seizure, his heart rate went down significantly.

The Young Money leader was also asked if he had any issues with TMZ falsely reporting his near death at the hospital. "Nah. That's what they do. I can't be upset at that," Wayne says. "I get upset at my kids when they do things I tell them not to do. I can't get upset at TMZ for doing what they do. They gonna probably come out tomorrow and say something else about somebody else that ain't true. That's what they do. The truth isn't good enough for them so they gotta twist everything up."

Wayne also addressed his absence on the MTV's polarizing Hottest MCs List, as well as his controversial rant about the Miami Heat.

As for his recently released album, 'I Am Not A Human Being II,' Wayne jokingly stated that he "hated it," but added that he recorded the album for his fans.
