Kendrick Lamar is gearing up for a performance at the 2013 BET Awards this weekend, but the young rapper isn't nervous about it one bit.

K. Dot told MTV News that he has "no worries" -- cue French Montana's 'Ain't Worried About Nothin' -- about touching the stage. "I'm just going out there to have fun, man," he said. "Ain't nothing to it, ain't nothing over-the-top where I've gotta think about it, so I'm just enjoying myself."

Still, the 'Poetic Justice' creator realizes that his performance is a big deal. "I'll try my best to live in that moment, because everybody don't get to be on that stage, man. It's a true blessing for me to get to do that," he admitted.

Lamar is also nominated for Best New Artist, Best Collaboration and Video of the Year for 'Poetic Justice' featuring Drake.

Others expected to perform include Chris Brown and Mariah Carey, among others.
