Janelle Monae Suits Up for 2013 Grammy Awards Red Carpet

On her way to enjoy the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, Janelle Monae stopped by the red carpet, wearing something only she could pull off.

The self-proclaimed "android" came through the red carpet in an outfit she called "ideas," which was a collaboration between herself and stylist Erin Hirsh. According to Janelle, the collaboration came about by telling Hirsh her vision. "I told her [Hirsh] what I wanted to look like, and she made it come to life," the songstress told Ryan Seacrest.

Going all-velvet everything, she wore a tux with tails and sequin flowers on the vest. She topped it all off with gold-painted fingernails and a big rock on her wedding finger. Is she dropping a hint with that?
