Frank Ocean’s ‘Channel Orange’ Goes Gold

Frank Ocean has hit a milestone in his budding career.

His critically acclaimed debut album, 'Channel Orange,' has sold 500,000 copies and is now declared certified gold. The LP has only been out for a mere six months and there have been just three singles released off the effort including 'Thinkin Bout You,' 'Bad Religion' and most recent track 'Pink Matter' with Andre 3000.

Aside from the mishap that happened earlier this week involving a parking lot scuffle with R&B star Chris Brown, Frank also was announced as one of the performers at the 2013 Grammy Awards, which air Feb. 10 on CBS. He is also nominated for six awards including Best New Artist and Album of the Year.

Seems like 2013 is starting off right for Mr.Ocean
