Dr. Dre, ‘The Next Episode’ – Songs to Ride Out to in Los Angeles

Seven years after the release of his classic 'Chronic' LP, Dr. Dre reconnected with Snoop Dogg to drop 'The Next Episode' for his '2001' album.

The song actually did serve as the next chapter for the two, who simply go back and forth on wax, riding the beat to perfection while spitting the slickest lyrics reminiscent of 'Nuthin' But a G Thang.' Snoop's flow is distinctly different on this track but Dre's sound is still just as innovative as it was in 1992.

'The Next Episode' wouldn't be as smoothed out of course, if it wasn't for Nate Dogg's contribution and his infamous suggestion at the very end to "smoke weed every day."
