With four episodes in on 'Dancing With the Stars,' the competition is getting fierce. Last night (Oct. 7), the celebrities were ready for it with a whole new set of routines that wowed the judges including Julianne Hough, who was a guest judge for the evening.

With eliminations to be announced at the end of the show, each couple was set on making sure to show the judges and America another side to them.

Leah Remini wanted to show her sexy side with the cha cha, which inspired judge Bruno Tonioli to say that she was channelling her inner J.Lo. Although Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Amber Riley were not in their usual top forms during rehearsals, the two managed to pull off great routines -- Snooki with the jive and Amber with the tango. Snooki and her partner walked away with a respectable 24 while Amber received a high 27 out of 30.

Meanwhile Christina Milian did her best to shake off last week's bottom two finish by dancing a modernized foxtrot, bringing out her sultry side. During rehearsals it looked like her frustrations were about to get the best of her. "To have that feeling you might be going home made me question myself as a performer," Christina admitted. "You know? This is what I do. I'm a performer."

After taking a breath, she continued, "I do want this to be good. I gotta calm down."

She and her partner, Mark Ballas, pulled out a great performance but Hough was hoping to see Christina's softer side. And with the two safe from elimination last night, they have a chance to do better next week.

Unfortunately, someone had to go, and it was Valerie Harper, who ended her run on the show with a Viennese waltz that had a few too many missteps to keep her in the competition.
