Christina Milian may be taking a break from 'The Voice,' but that doesn't mean that she's done with reality TV competitions for good as she is one of the season 17 contestants on 'Dancing with the Stars.' And while we've seen her grace the stage with hits like 'Dip It Low,' it looks like this season is making her more nervous as she shows in last night's (Sept. 16) season opener on ABC.

"I think people are going to have higher expectations of me as a performer," she explains during the rehearsal portion of the show. "But I've never danced with a partner before."

And although she's been paired up with Mark Ballas, who's won two seasons of 'Dancing with the Stars' (Kristi Yamaguchi in the sixth season and Shawn Johnson in the eighth season), Milian was still feeling the pressure while they practiced contemporary -- a dance style she's unfamiliar with. She started to tear up due to her nervousness.

However, the singer and actress pushed through the anxiety and pulled off an effortless routine with Zedd's 'Clarity' featuring Foxes as the soundtrack. The judges, who gave Milian and Ballas a 22 out of 30, thought she did great as well, but she needed to open up to the audiences more.

While her score is good enough to keep her there for another week, the night went to Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes on 'Glee.' Dancing the cha cha, she impressed the judges so much that she received 27 points and the night's highest score.
