Bodega Bamz is quickly making his name on the unsigned rapper circuit. Now, the Spanish Harlem, N.Y., native talks with Fuse about his career beginnings and future.

The 'Mi Casa' rapper recounts his musical journey and tours his current Washington Heights hood for the latest installment of Fuse's 'Behind the Unsigned' series. He explains that he's been doing music for seven years and got into rap in high school by rapping over songs by legends like the Notorious B.I.G. and Eminem.

Although he's enjoyed milestones, like being on Hot 97's Summer Jam stage, Bamz says that he's still waiting on his "defining moment."

Last year, Bamz dropped his 'Strictly 4 My P.A.P.I.Z.' mixtape, which has helped circulate his name among rap heads with songs like 'P.A.P.I.' and 'Say Amen.' He has collaborated with the likes of A$AP Ferg and Flatbush Zombies.
