Singer-songwriter Miguel is evolving as an artist and it shows on his second effort, 'Kaleidoscope Dream.' The title is apropos -- it's a collection of kaleidoscopic ballads elevated by the singer's falsetto vocals.

His chart-topping hit 'Adorn' is the perfect love anthem with its throbbing beat, reminiscent of Marvin Gaye's 'Sexual Healing.' Lone guest feature Alicia Keys adds depth to the soulful 'Where's the Fun in Forever,' and Miguel gets a little daring with the sex talk on 'Arch and Point' and 'P---- Is Mine.'

Producers Pop & Oak, Salaam Remi and Jerry Wonda should be commended as well for crafting a cohesive blend of retro soul grooves and rock elements to Miguel's sensual vocals. It's a match made in bedroom heaven.
