Having a bit of a break between the U.S. and European legs of her Set the World On Fire tour, Alicia Keys stopped by 'American Idol' last night (May 9) to debut her latest single, 'Tears Always Win.'

Sitting at a grand piano, all eyes were on Keys as she sang the R&B-centered pop track, which was written by Bruno Mars. "These lips are missing you / Cause these lips ain't kissing you / These eyes put up a fight / But once again these tears always win / These arms are wanting you / Cause these arms ain't holding you / These eyes put up a fight / But once again these tears always win," she sings on the chorus.

Considering she spent the last month or so on the road, Keys admitted that she was still feeling nerves before her performance. "Looking at the audience is giving me butterflyz!!! Feels like I’m trying out for the show too!!! Tune in now! #idol," she tweeted.
