After a chance meeting with Mariah Carey who heard her during a rehearsal at the Grammys, Kelly Price soon made a name for herself doing backing vocals on hits like Carey’s ‘Fantasy’ and Whitney Houston’s ‘Heartbreak Hotel.’ She also performed with Faith Evans, Brian McKnight and R. Kelly.

As a solo artist, she released six albums and recorded songs on a number of film soundtracks including 'Why Did I Get Married?’ and ‘Madea’s Big Happy Family.’

In 2012, Price became one of the last singers to perform with the late Houston. The two performed ‘Jesus Loves Me’ at a pre-Grammy party. She has recently scooped up to be on the cast of ’R&B Divas: L.A.,’ and celebrated the new project by performing a cover of Chaka Khan’s ‘I’m Every Woman’ with castmates Lil' Mo, Claudette Ortiz, Dawn Robinson, Chante Moore and Michel’le Toussaint.
