20: Tracy Nguyen – Powerful Women of 2013

Although she studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Tracy Nguyen soon found out that her true calling was in public relations. Founder of Industry PR, she's worked closely with stars including Akon, Young Jeezy and Kelis.

Nguyen started her PR career while working at Vivienne Westwood's former U.S. flagship store. Before starting Industry PR, she worked at People's Revolution and 5 W Public Relations. As Industry PR enters its fifth year, there's no doubt that Nguyen will continue to propel the success of various hip-hop brands and artists.
