19: Nicole George – Powerful Women of 2013

Although Nicole George isn't one of the more well-known names in hip-hop and R&B, she is a star within the music industry. As the vice president of membership for rhythm and soul at ASCAP, she has signed various artists including Boi-1da and T.I.

She's also developed various programs and events within the rhythm and soul sector of ASCAP, plus she's founding member of Black Women in Entertainment Law. Prior to being one of the heads at the organization, she was the director of business and legal affairs at Zomba Music Group.
