Contact Us Accused of Stealing Arty & Mat Zo’s ‘Rebound’ for New Single, Chris Brown Defends Himself Chris Brown
Joe Scarnici / Jason Merritt, Getty Images has been accused of hi-jacking an entire song from EDM producers Arty and Mat Zo for his collaborative song ‘Let’s Go’ featuring Chris Brown.

On Tuesday (April 16), the producer-rapper uploaded the track on YouTube for fans to preview. According to Dancing Astronaut, Arty jumped on Twitter and called will a thief.

“Poor form by Will I am nicking @mat_zo and @arty_music ‘s track “Rebound” without asking the artist or label @anjunabeats! #dotherightthing,” he tweeted, which has since been deleted.

This prompted Brown to jump on Twitter to absolve himself from the matter. “I don’t even know who mat zo Or arty is? I ain’t got s— to do wit if ur mad or not. Someone asked for a feature on a record and I did it,” he wrote in a tweet that also has been deleted.

Apparently, the blacklash from Arty calling will a thief was so crazy that Matt Zo deleted his Twitter account. He took to Facebook to voice his disgust.

“I really and truely appreciate all the support you are giving me and Arty in response to Will I Am’s copyright infringement. However, this doesnt excuse the horrific abuse youre sending the way of Will I Am and Chris Brown, and it especially doesnt excuse being racist. Thank you,” he wrote.

Will has not yet responded to the controversy, however, another DJ, Laidback Luke said the song was cleared beforehand and Arty and Matt Zo will get production credit.

This isn’t the first time has been called out for his work on ‘#willpower.’ British singer-songwriter Tulisa is currently suing him to get credit and royalties for writing lyrics to the Britney Spears-assisted track, ‘Scream & Shout.’
