Chart-topping rhyme-spitters Meek Mill, Future, A$AP Rocky, Kanye West and Big Sean are No.'s 10 through 6, respectively, on MTV's annual Hottest MCs In the Game list for 2013.

Milly kicks off the list at No. 10. The Philly spitfire is cited for his impressive mixtape grind and for his debut LP, 'Dreams and Nightmares,' reaching the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 chart with 165,000 copies sold.

Following Mill at No. 9 is Future. The Atlanta rapper is credited for his high-powered collaborations and hook-making skills. Next up is A$AP Rocky who came in at No. 8. Dat PMF was honored by MTV's Hip-Hop Brain Trust for his fashion sense and his chart-topping debut album 'Long.Live.A$AP.'

At No. 7 is West, who is credited for his Watch the Throne tour with Jay-Z and extending his hand to help Chicago rapper Chief Keef when he remixed his single, 'I Don't Like.' Not only that, Yeezy is continuously making headlines with his girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

Finally, at No. 6 is fellow G.O.O.D. Music artist Big Sean. Already known for his catchy ad-libs, the Detroit rhyme-slinger was credited for standing out lyrically on posse songs like 'Clique' and the Grammy-nominated single, 'Mercy.' Not to mention his 3.8 million followers on Twitter and 1.8 million downloads on DatPiff proves that he's the hottest in the rap game right now.

If you are upset by this list so far, just know that MTV's Hip-Hop Brain Trust has a list of criteria in picking the aforementioned artists, which include impact, lyrics, sales, buzz and style. The crew will reveal the No. 1 rapper during its Hottest MC in the Game VIII special, which airs March 7 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV Jams.
