Lil Durk, a rapper affiliated with Chief Keef, was arrested early Wednesday for a gun violation in Chicago's South Side neighborhood of Englewood.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the 20-year-old, who is signed to Def Jam, was charged with one felony count of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.

He was arrested after police received a call about a person having a handgun around 3AM.

In 2012, the 'Dis Ain’t What U Want' rhymer, born Durk D. Banks, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and was sentenced to a year in prison. He was released on parole on July 27, 2012. Durk would have completed his parole term on July 27 of this year.

HotNewHipHop.com reports that he is being held on $100,000 bond.

Apparently, Durk was wrongly arrested and his attorney, Sam Adam Jr., told Cook County Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil that he had several affidavits from witnesses who said the 20-year-old rapper didn’t have the weapon.
