Jay-Z has added a new client to his newfound sports management company Roc Nation Sports -- New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz.

The footballer is the second high-profile athlete to ink with Hov after Yankees baseball player Robinson Cano signed this week.

GuySpeed reports that Cruz recently fired his agent Malik Shareef and hired Creative Artists Agency's Tom Condon who is affiliated with Roc Nation Sports. The 31-year-old NFL player is a restricted free-agent and is looking for a long-term contract with a team.

The Giants reportedly offered an extended contract to Cruz worth $7 million per year, but he's asking for $10 to $11 million annually.

Roc Nation will most likely assist Cruz with expanding his endorsement deals -- he already has agreements with Nike, Campbell's Chunky Soup and Time Warner Cable.

The management company could also help develop the athlete's upstart clothing line Young Whales.

Although Jay-Z is not a licensed agent, it been whispered that he wants to become one -- starting with baseball, then moving on to basketball and football. Well, he's headed in the right direction with these two newest acquisitions.

Hopefully, Hov's sports agency will get Cruz the big-money contracts he needs so we can see him do more salsa dancing in the end zone.
