I/O's music is an experience, to say the least. The New York City artist, born Ayo Olatunji, challenges genre boundaries with his dream-like, spacy project 'Isolation,' released in August 2012. On the effort, he bobs and weaves through dramatic, high-volume production. His voice is light and echoey while he allows the music to serve up the dramatics.

Lyrics about life, lust and heartbreak are the mainstay of 'Isolation,' in which I/O is a singer, songwriter and producer. Standout tracks on the record include 'Fast-Freetimes' and 'Strangers.' Good music runs in the singer's veins as his grandfather is Grammy award-winning Nigerian drummer Babatunde Olatunji.
