Ice Cube – Rappers Who Can Act

Given Ice Cube's trajectory in gangsta rap, who would have thought he would become such a powerful figure in Hollywood?

From his memorable acting debut in 'Boyz n the Hood,' to his comedic side in 'Friday' to his riveting performance in 'Three Kings,' he's an actor's favorite actor.

Much like Will Smith, Cube has been able to juggle acting and his executive hat. His production company Cube Vision has handled production for such films as 'Barbershop,' 'Are We There Yet?' and 'Lottery Ticket.'

Rumor has it that Cube is trying to woo Chris Tucker into starring in a 'Friday' reunion movie with the original cast. He's also developing an N.W.A. biopic, titled 'Straight Outta Compton,' which is being directed by F. Gary Gray.
