Members of Emmett Till's estate are demanding an apology from Lil Wayne...or else!

The Till family have been patiently waiting for the Young Money leader to say he's sorry for rapping, "Beat the p---- up, like Emmett Till" on Future's 'Karate Chop (Remix).' The family members feel that the line is both disrespectful to both the deceased young man and women, alike.

Although Epic Records CEO Antonio "L.A." Reid has apologized and axed Weezy's controversial verse from the song, Cash Money Records nor Weezy himself have yet to apologize to the family.

According to AllHipHop.com, the Till family plans to follow in the footsteps of women's group UltraViolet, whose protests forced Reebox to drop Rick Ross for his controversial lyrics on Rocko's song, 'U.O.E.N.O.’

Since Wayne is the pitchman for Mountain Dew, they will reach out to the beverage company and demand they cut their ties with the rapper as an endorser.

What do you think? Do you feel this is a witch hunt or should Lil Wayne apologize to the Emmett Till family? Tell us in the comments below.
