Earl Sweatshirt Cancels All Shows Due to Pneumonia
While the 19-year-old’s publicist was general about the announcement and only said that he had an illness, Earl was pretty straightforward with his fans and told them what’s really up via Twitter.
“The worst part of pneumonia is that it won’t f—ing go away,” he tweeted on June 18. “It’s like dubstep.”
After a few days it looked like his condition wasn’t getting any better, and the rhymer wrote, “IM STILL SICK AND THIS SUCKS ASS THAT I CANT MAKE IT TO THESE JULY SHOWS I AM REALLY F—ING SORRY TO EVERYONE WHO WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO IT.”
And finally, Earl had to make the announcement he was avoiding.

There’s no word yet on if the ‘Whoa’ creator will reschedule the canceled shows.
