A$AP Rocky Sued for Assault, Claims Self-Defense

A$AP Rocky has a passion for fashion, but the rapper swears that he never started a fight at a New York clothing store last year.

Rocky was sued last year for fighting with two amateur photographers, as reported by TMZ. The alleged victim claimed Rocky got high in the store and then lashed out.

Rocky grabbed one of the cameras and did plead guilty to grand larceny surrounding that last year.

Now, the 'Wild For the Night' rapper is speaking out, claiming that he never beat anyone up and he was merely protecting himself in self-defense.

Rocky filed papers in court, according to TMZ, claiming the alleged assault victim is a liar who attacked him first.

Anything Rocky did subsequently was merely self-defense, and he wants the lawsuit against him thrown out.
