Akon made a primetime television return at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards for his collaboration with David Guetta for the song ‘Play Hard.’

Guetta handled the ones and twos while Ne-Yo came in singing the hook.

Wearing all-black, Akon started off on the main stage, which was lit up in lime green, while Guetta rocked matching Beats by Dre headphones as he mixed the music.

Ne-Yo appeared rocking his signature fedora and a black-and-white checkered shirt, all while the crowd jumped around to the infectious track.

Guetta, who was on a special stage in the middle of the venue, was then joined by Akon and Ne-Yo and all three rocked out for the rest of the song together while the audience clapped along until the end of the performance.
