Alicia Keys is no stranger to making videos that not only tell a story but also carry a deep message. And her visual for 'Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)' is probably one of the stronger examples of this.

Delving into the issues surrounding race in America as well as interracial relationships, Keys is presented as a girl who's being courted by a white man through various decades in American history. Whether it's during segregation or the present day, Keys is faced with the dilemma of whether or not she should pursue this relationship with the guy, played by actor Chad Michael Murray. Although it's unclear how the relationship pans out at the end, it does bring up an issue that isn't necessarily faced with regards to race.

Due to its message and content, the video won Outstanding Music Video at the 42nd Annual NAACP Image Awards in 2011.
