Spenzo – Artists Bubbling Up

Chicago emcee Spenzo is skyrocketing beyond the Windy City. The 17-year-old sensation has been heralded as the next true lyricist to come out of the metropolis since last spring, after dropping his viral hit 'Go In.'

His mixtape 'Ain't You Spenzo,' has garnered quite a bit of attention since its 2012 release as well, so much that the Infrared Music affiliate has recently been pictured in a room full of Atlantic Record executives.

As rumors swirl about his possible signing to the label, Spenzo is taking it all in stride -- even the comparisons to a young Lupe Fiasco, surprisingly coming from fellow Chicagoan and drill music sergeant Chief Keef.
