Houston rap legend Scarface minces no words when speaking on his stint as Def Jam South's president back in 1999. He says that it was the inclusion of L.A. Reid as an executive that made him decide to cut ties with the Def Jam offshoot. "I think when the powers, Lyor [Cohen], Kevin [Liles] -- when everybody left Def Jam, when the wigs left, like, I was over there with L.A. Reid," Face revealed in a 2010 interview. "And I didn't know what kind of s--- was getting ready to go on over there." Be that as it may, Face Mob was at Def Jam for the start of Ludacris' career and last year, he divulged that he brought Rozay to the label as well before making his departure in 2002.
