Part of the "lady drillas" comprising Chicago’s hardcore, youthful rap scene piloted by Chief Keef, Sasha Go Hard has grown in popularity in the last year, especially with younger fans. She released her first mixtape, ‘Glory Girl’ last year, and in July, her ‘Do You Know Who I Am?’ mixtape earned her more attention.

With comparisons to Trina and Diamond, Sasha may not be a lyrical assassin but her confident mentality -- she likens to one of her favorite emcees Rick Ross -- is part of her signature style. She had a welcoming performance at Santos Party House during the CMJ Festival in October and subsequently released her third mixtape, ‘Hip Hop vs. Love,’ a collaborative effort with Ill Will (of Chicago’s M.I.C.).
