When Rockie Fresh first broke into music, he wasn't surrounded by other hip-hop artists. Instead, he worked with alternative rock bands like Fall Out Boy and Good Charlotte.

Despite his success working with this style of music, he recently was picked up and signed by Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group. Ross was thoroughly impressed with the work Fresh did on his 2012 mixtape, 'Driving 88,' and actually got into a bidding war with Diddy to get Fresh on his label.

Although he has five mixtapes, including this year's 'Electric Highway,' as well as a number of featuring spots on tracks under his belt, it won't be too surprising if this young 20-something will be releasing a full-length studio album by the end of the year.
