In 2004, Pharrell hit the carpet for Teen People's What's Next in New Talent event, sporting the quintessential skater look: a roomy ski jacket, baggy denim with a whisker wash, low-top kicks and a black BAPE beanie. Even if he was one of the older stars in attendance, he pulled the look off without a hitch.

More surprising was the fact that Pharrell, primarily known for his work in hip-hop up until that point, looked the part of a true-blue snowboarder without it being perceived as contrived. The icing on the cake was the incorporation of his new fashion line into the outfit -- Pharrell was sure to wear a white sweatshirt from his own Billionaire Boys Club collection.
