Compton emcee Problem isn't new to the rap game. He's been behind the scenes producing, engineering and earning writing credits with artists like Snoop Dogg and paved his own way as a lyricist on album cuts. The rapper's been dropping jewels for years after his contract with Universal Records fell apart in 2008.

With the 2012 release of his mixtapes, 'Welcome to Mollywood' -- parts one and two -- the Diamond Lane Music Group rhymer exhibits perseverance and strength, while pulling in a whole new flock of fans. His most recent turn on the Chris Brown track, 'Let the Blunt Go,' ought to be enough to catapult him past a certain niche.
