Nicki Minaj Takes a ‘Dramatic’ Turn for New Fragrance Commercial

Nicki Minaj pushed the envelope with her look while shooting a commercial for her new fragrance.

Decked out like a prom queen, the Young Money rap star wore a pale pink gown with glittering jewels around her neck. She sported a diamond-encrusted headband to match, positioned over her big pink-streaked blonde hair.

She went for a smokey eye on her lids and opted for a pale lip. Makeup artist Tatiana Ward used her skills to create the look.

“Fragrance commercial shoot with the legendary David LaChapelle 1st look #dramatic,” the head Barb tweeted.

LaChapelle, who served as the commercial's director, worked with Minaj previously on her M.A.C VIVA GLAM campaign.

The rhymer didn't reveal which fragrance she was shooting a visual for. Last year, she debuted her first scent, Pink Friday.
