Nicki Minaj Lifestyle Brand Headed to Kmart Stores

Nicki Minaj is adding lifestyle connoisseur to her resume. The multi-faceted rapper will be launching an apparel, accessories and housewares line with Kmart and ShopYourWay.com, a social shopping platform.

As the director of her brand, the Queens, N.Y., native will be in charge of developing and overseeing design of all products to reflect the bright, colorful and funked-up edgy style she's known for.

The Young Money queen spoke on the upcoming project stating,  “I am so excited to work with this iconic, mass retailer and to bring affordable fashion to my beautiful barbz all across the U.S.”

Another popular artist and singing competition judge, Adam Levine of 'The Voice,' will also have a similar deal with Kmart. Sears Holdings, which owns Kmart, hopes the new lines will push more traffic to their online shopping destination, ShopYourWay.com.

Nicki Minaj's new product line will be available in select Kmart locations and ShopYourWay.com before the end of 2013.
