Miss Info is an inspiration for all women hoping to break through and cover hip-hop from every angle. The fact that the genre is often a boys' club has no bearing on the strength of her movement.

Well-versed in the culture, the Chicago native easily has one of the most recognizable brands in the business. Info started off writing for the pages of Vibe, Rolling Stone and of course The Source (under the pen name "Shortie"), where she gave Nas' 'Illmatic' a five mic rating.

She's worked for MTV, New York City's Hot 97 radio station and has her own website, MissInfo.tv, where she drops news bits on everyone's favorite rappers. She pushes these posts via Twitter but outside of site plugs, her tweets are often snarky -- inducing a chuckle or two, but always smart.
