Rapper Mayalino has been laying low in the Houston hip-hop shadows for some time now. Since 2010, the Southside native has been trying to come into the spotlight as an emcee and his strong connections have lent to his near-immediate rise within the last year or so.

The rapper, born Jeremiah Morin, has made it his business to add something different to the Houston hip-hop scene, particularly changing what its been within the city's Latino community.  His fanbase extends to include H-Town legends like Scarface and Bun B -- the latter recently joined Mayalino on the insanely infectious 'Cadillac' street single.
