Lil’ Keke – Rappers to Meet While Visiting Houston

Rapper Lil' Keke can genuinely say that he's had a hand in crafting the Houston sound, even as we know it today.

As one of the original members of the Screwed Up Click, Keke was around before everything out of Houston was chopped and screwed. In fact, he was in the studio with the city's beloved DJ Screw, as the latter created the sound that's become synonymous with Houston hip-hop.

After nearly 20 years of being a part of the hip-hop industry, Keke released his fifth solo LP, 'Heart of a Hustla,' last year.
