Kid Ink vs. B.o.B. – Rap Battle
Kirko Bangz just couldn't hold on to his winning streak and lost last week's Rap Battle to Kid Ink. Taking 55.22 percent of the vote, Kid beat out Kirko, who only received 44.78 percent.
Los Angeles rapper Kid Ink's latest track, ‘Bossin Up (Remix)’ was originally released with French Montana and A$AP Ferg. But the new remix is placed on a harder beat and features the spitting styles of Young Jeezy and YG. The song will be part of the compilation by CTE, CTE World and BYLUG ('Boss Ya Life Up Gang') out this week.
“Lookin’ around just a bunch of clowns trying to represent my town / I’ve been gone for like 30 days / And every chain know where it rain / Got a boss b—- and she understand / Timing is everything,” he spits.
B.o.B. is this week's other contender. With the hype surrounding Kendrick Lamar's verse on Big Sean's latest joint, 'Control,' the Georgia-based rapper released a response track called, 'How 2 Rap.'
“My first mixtape, they all said I sounded like Dre [Andre 3000] / Then they said my album was pop, didn’t really sound like the mixtape / Now I’m doing what I started, now they telling me I changed / I hear underrated so much, you would swear it was my name / Ain’t no rappers on my list / Come holla at me when you’re done riding each other’s d---,” B.o.B. delivers.
Will Kid Ink hold onto the lead? Or will B.o.B. prove that he really is better than what Lamar calls him out to be? Remember you can vote once per hour until the poll closes on Thurs., Aug. 22, at 10 AM ET.
