Kid Cudi Lands Role on ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ TV Show
Kid Cudi is returning to the small screen with the Fox TV show, ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine.'
The rapper will put his music career to the side very briefly for a guest role on the new comedy, which also stars Andy Samberg.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Mr. Rager will play ex-con Dustin Whitman, a jewel thief. Samberg, who plays Jake, a New York City detective, is convinced Whitman robbed a jewelry store.
Cudi is slated to appear in the third episode of the season. 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' premieres Sept. 17 on Fox.
The 29-year-old 'Indicud' creator appeared on the short-lived HBO series, ‘How to Make It in America’ and also made a guest appearance on the animated ‘The Cleveland Show.’
The former G.O.O.D. Music member will kick off his The Cud Life tour Aug. 22 with Tyler the Creator, Big Sean and Logic.
