Kanye West, Swizz Beatz and Pharrell Williams Have Beat Battle

After the awkward rap battle in which no one was crowned, the beat battle felt more intense.

There's no bad blood between Kanye West, Swizz Beatz and Pharrell Williams, but as competitors in a craft they all love, ego trips are inevitable.

Dr. Dre and Q-Tip sat in the judges' seats.

The battle was only supposed to last one hour but went on for two because Kanye rebelled against the 20-minute rule and took an extra hour for himself. Yeezy would have kept going if Q-Tip didn't pull the plug on him. Frustrated, Dre and Q-Tip scratched the competition altogether. For their time and effort, Dre told everyone they could keep the Beats by Dre headphones he gave them for the battle.
